About VTV
From national news coverage to educational and entertainment programming, VTV has developed into a broad television network serving diverse audiences.
A national broadcasting institution
Vietnam Television began broadcasting on 7 September 1970 and later adopted the Vietnam Television name in 1987. Over the decades, the network expanded from a small national service into a multi-channel broadcaster.
Today, its channels cover current affairs, science, education, sport, entertainment, regional interests, ethnic-language programming, culture, tourism and international content.
